One mark, one sans, one accent.
How Optimus Foundry looks, moves, and sounds. Everything on this page is live: the mark, the type, and the motion are the same code the site runs on.
A stamp, poured.
A solid stamp with an italic O struck clean through it and a molten core at its centre. In the hero it pours: the metal fills the O from the core, overflows across the stamp, and cools back to ink. Everywhere else it holds still, the same drawing from 16px to a billboard.
| Stamp | Center 50, 50 · radius 48 · solid |
| O | Instrument Serif Italic outline, 74 units, centred, cut through the stamp |
| Core | Center 50, 52 · radius 5.5 · --molten |
| Motion | motion="pour-loop" · 5.6s · hero and this page only |
| Ink | currentColor, so the mark takes its text color |

Slanted caps, full stop.
Inter Tight 700 italic, all caps, tight tracking, closed with the molten full stop that ends every headline. Always to the right of the mark, never alone. In running copy the name is set normally: Optimus Foundry.
White ground, molten core.
A white ground, neutral-cool greys, and a near-black with no warm cast. The heavy black mark and one hot orange carry all the warmth. Molten is punctuation: a period, one phrase per headline, a status dot. Never a fill.
One sans, two jobs.
Inter Tight carries display and body. Bold and tight for headlines, the italic of the same weight for emphasis, regular for reading. JetBrains Mono carries structure: eyebrows, serial numbers, metadata.

Slow, linear, one at a time.
Motion moves like a forge wheel, not a phone screen. Linear or ease-in-out, with one exception: the pour has weight, so it lands, squashes, and settles. One moving thing per surface, and nothing scroll-triggered.
- The pour. Loops in the hero every 5.6s: a stream drops into the core, the metal fills the O and overflows across the stamp, spills off the rim, cools back to ink, and pours again.
- The heat pass. Molten fills the rail, each step heats and holds, then the section cools.
- Durations. 0.25s for hovers, seconds for ambient loops. Nothing in between without a reason.
- Reduced motion. Every loop stops and shows its finished state.
Say the literal thing.
Confident, quiet, technical, honest. Active voice. Short sentences in clusters of three. One foundry verb per paragraph: cast, forge, temper, or stamp.

- All sans. Inter Tight for display and body, JetBrains Mono for labels. The one serif is the O drawn into the mark.
- One accent per surface. Molten is punctuation. No filled molten buttons, no molten sections.
- No dark sections. Separate a section with
--paper-2between rules, never a dark band. - Hairlines, not boxes. 1px rules before any shadow. Never a shadow on text.
- Square containers, full pills. Corners are 0 or 999px, nothing in between.
- The 8px grid. Every space is a multiple of 8.
- No emoji, no gradients. The only gradient is the soft molten glow behind the hero mark.
- Periods end headlines. The molten full stop is the signature.
The mark, ready to print.
Everything a writer or a partner needs, in one download. Use the files as they are: the core stays molten, the stamp stays whole, and the lockup keeps its spacing.
